DTF Film Storage
Why It Matters
DTF film has a coating that accepts ink and releases it during transfer. If the coating absorbs moisture or gets damaged, you'll see ink bleeding, poor color saturation, or transfer failures.

- Shake regularly: White ink must be shaken or circulated every 24-48 hours, even in storage.
- Seal tightly: Air exposure causes ink to thicken and skin over. Always recap bottles immediately.
- Keep upright: Store bottles upright to prevent leaks and ensure proper settling patterns.
- Shelf life: 6-12 months unopened; 3-6 months once opened.
Hot Melt Powder Storage
Why It Matters
Hot melt powder (TPU adhesive) is moisture-sensitive. If it absorbs humidity, it clumps, melts unevenly during pressing, and causes adhesion failures.

- Temperature: 50-85°F (10-30°C)
- Humidity: Below 50% RH — this is critical
